Born in Lake Paul, Kings Co., he was son of the late Harry Marsters and Norma Pearl (Lutz) Joudrey. In his younger years, Starr enjoyed spending time with family and friends and taking part in outdoor activities. He thoroughly enjoyed his visits with his family and friends and time spent reminiscing. Starr was a veteran of the Korean War and was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ortona Branch # 69, Berwick. He worked in the Concrete Industry for approximately 40 years. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Rita M. (Sawyer) Joudrey; children, Terry Joudrey, Berwick; Kendall Joudrey, Cambridge; Jeff (Liz) Joudrey, South Berwick; Brad (Grace) Joudrey, Burlington; Joy (Brent Sarsfield) Elliott, Upper Canard; Norma (Craig) Nichols, Morristown; Audrey Stewart, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Jamie, Kristy, Ryan, Rachel, Riley, Daniel, Samantha, Spencer, Michelle and Sydney; sisters, Shirley Jones; Verna Lutz; Grace Lutz, all of Berwick; Helen (Malcolm) Kelly, Aylesford; Audrey Joudrey, Alberta; brothers, Vaughn (Erma) Joudrey, Ont.; Clayton (Debbie) Joudrey, Lake Paul; numerous nieces and nephews. 2567 Katharina Dyck, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2011 AD, at the Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of eighty-nine. "Tina", as she was known by her friends, was born on July 7, 1921 in Georgestahl, Ukraine. Then emigrated to Germany when she was twenty-five. With her husband, Abram, and two sons, moved to Canada in 1955. She spent her time with family, friends and church, loved life and traveling. She was a selfless caregiver to not only her family but to numerous foster children and loved to provide for others. In spite of her years of illness her main concerns were for the well-being of others over herself. She will be sadly missed. She'll be lovingly remembered by her brother, Peter Bergmann (Margaret); sisters, Helen Friesen and Nettie Bergmann; sons, Henry Dyck, Rudy (Susan) Dyck and Robert Dyck; grandchildren, Robert Dyck and Gregory Dyck (Michelle), Brian Dyck and Jason Dyck; great grandchildren, Ryan Dyck and Brendon Dyck. LOWE…… Kathleen Marie Lowe, age 91, of South Rawdon, Hants County, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, surrounded by her family. Born on April 11, 1925, in Wentworth Creek, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hannah (Seary) Ward. Kathleen was a lifelong homemaker, and was known for her baking abilities. She was a loving and compassionate mother, grandmother, great grandmother and was known as Nanny Lowe, by people and children in her community. She was a devoted parishioner of the Rawdon Hills United Church where she will be sadly missed. One of her biggest triumphs was raising her 12 children. Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Gail (Sidney) Aker; Marilyn (Wayne) Haley; Carolyn (Wayne) Weir; Susan (Vernon) Leighton; Cathy (Mark) Church; Jackie (James) Wile; sons, James (Beverly) Young, Perry (Michelle) Lowe, Bobby (Sharon) Lowe, Jerry Lowe (Pam); Terry Lowe (Sherri); stepson, Gerald (Rose) Wright; brother, Bill (Leona) Ward; half-sister, Jessie (Oscar) Langdon; 26 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a special great granddaughter, Gracie Kathleen Aubrey. She enjoyed Gracie doing her nails and having tea parties; many nieces and nephews; close friends, Helen Campbell and Edna Goodall for all they have done over the years. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Garfield "Ted" Benedict and Lucy (Cox) (Benedict) McKeigan?. She was privileged to have been the borrowed daughter of Dorothea Hiltz of Green Acres Subdivision, Auburn. Linda was a long time member of the Grand Pré Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed engaging in the public ministry and studying the Bible with many over the years. In addition, she worked hard along side Owen in their family business, Keddy's Crane Rentals, and also enjoyed special time with her family and working in her flower garden. Linda is survived by her husband, Owen Keddy; sons, Joseph (Heather), White Rock, and (stepson), Robert (Heather), New Minas; sisters, Colleen (Ronald) Haight, Digby; Susan (Gary) Vidito, Kentville; and Heather (Lewis) White, Halifax; brother, Bernard (Jane), New Minas; grandchildren, Hayden, Bryson, Teaghan, Olivia, Madaline, and an unborn infant, along with several nieces and nephews. Viola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt during her lifetime and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of Windsor United Church. Survived by her daughter, Judith Clews, Windsor; step-daughter, Judith Delve, Edmonton, Alta; step-son, Douglas Killen, Courtenay, B.C.; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Church; second husband, G. Herman Killen; daughter, Gloria Ellen Church; brothers, Earl, Gilbert, and Arthur McLellan; sisters, Jennie McLellan, Lena Kunze, Annie Barkhouse, and Helen Peach.

HARVIE (White), Lalia Isabella - 85, Kennetcook, Hants Co., passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer, on July 25, 2003, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born December 14, 1917, on Noel Road, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Linden (Barron) White. Lalia worked at different places in and around Kennetcook earlier in life then worked for Crossley's Carpet Factory, Truro, retiring when she was 65. She was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed knitting and loved spending time with her family, especially Sunday afternoons. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She lived a long and graceful life and was truly an angel on Earth. Jean had an arm for bowling, enjoyed knitting and the Lexicon, and had a passion about penguins. She taught school for a number of years and attended Christ Church (Anglican) in Dartmouth. Born in Brooklyn, Hants Co., to Jehu and Edith Ward, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been predeceased by sisters, Pauline (Georgie), Esther, Lena and Rita, and brothers, Gordon and Melvin. She was also predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Alan M. Latta, and is survived by daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Keith) MacKay, Halifax, and Judy (Ray Feeney) Latta, Garden City, NY; grandchildren, Laura (Mitch), Kate (Mike), Keith (Sherry), Elizabeth (Tony), Evan (Lauren), and Heather; and great-grandchildren, Talis and Keith. Born on June 6, 1941, in Ellershouse, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Laurie was the son of the late Aubrey Fraser and Althea Mary (Cochrane) Spence.

Laurie is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elaine Sharon (nee: Sanford); sons, Owen (Donna), Centreville ; Ricky (Lorraine), Windsor; Rodney, Toronto, Ontario; 4 grandchildren, Amber (Lee); Phillip; Amanda; and Jordan; great granddaughter, Nixon; sister, Marion Mosher, Windsor; brother, Nathaniel (Brenda), Ellershouse; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Audrey Ross; Elaine’s parents, Sherman and Avis Sanford and brothers-in-law, Guy Sanford, Harold Sanford and Roger Mosher.
