Surviving are her daughters, Joyce (Peter) Saunders, Bridgewater; Janet (Bill) Bent, Halifax; son, James, Halifax; grandsons, Nicholas, Matthew and Steven Saunders; granddaughter, Suzanne Burchell; sister Marjorie Jardine, Halifax; brothers, Orris 'Bim' Frittenburg, Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Mason Burchell, and sister, Dorothy Frittenburg. (buried Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney.)
