- I have added Richard to the children of Symond Ward, only because there was a Richard Ward living in Marske in 1712 who was a plaintiff in a court case involving debts owed to a Ferdinando Penkhurst over "land in Marske". John Hutton and Dorothy his wife of Marske Manor are noted as Defendants.
