- Crandall (Moore), Ruth Irene - 94, Centreville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2011, in Valley Regional Hospital. Ruth was born on Nuvember 30, 1916, in Melvern Square. She was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Lightfoot) Moore. Ruth was a member of the Centreville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years and talked to many people about the Bible over the years. One of her favourite scriptures was from John 5:28, 29 where it talks about God's promise of a resurrection of the dead. She also really enjoyed the outdoors especially the flowers and gardening and drives in the countryside. Another one of her passtimes was spent reading and listening to country music, if it had to do with the 'Grand Ole Opery'. Ruth is survived by her sons, Cecill (Carol) of Brighton Ont.; Roger of Centerville; Randy of Centerville. She is also survived by grandchildren, Richard, Christa, Sandra, Brian, Mark, and Chad. Ruth also has 11 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Ruth was predeceased by husband, Ernest; son, Ernie; daughter, Diane; brother, Charles and Murray; sisters, Violet, Beatrice, Edith,, Hilda, Leota, Laura, and Margaurite. She was also predeceased by grandchild, Kimberly. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
