- With a feeling of great loss the family of John Wile must share that he lost his battle with cancer. Surrounded by his family he quietly passed from his earthly home to his forever home with the Lord on Friday April 12th at his home in Westville.
John was born April 28th 1956 in Windsor, Hants to Arnold Wile & Helen (Caldwell) Wile and grew up in Leminsiter, Hants until moving to Belmont, Colchester at the age of 16 where he met his bride to be Jane (Currie) on April 15 1973 – they have been together ever since, raising their family in Crowes Mills, Colchester and later moving to Pictou County in 2010. He is survived by his wife Jane and children – Russell (Sanja MacDonald), Erin (Bryce Copp) and Ellen (Kyle Conrad); his grandchildren Caide, Jayden, Gabe & Ella-Mae; mother Helen Wile & mother-in-law Joan Currie; sister Maxine (Paul Stevens), brothers Earl (Diane), Steven (Heather), Walter (Janet) & Mark (Wendy), brothers-in-law Dan (Heather), Jamie (Michele) who are his best friends and Tim (Doug), as well as many nieces & nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Arnold, father in law Stuart Currie and grandson Kylar Conrad and is now enjoying a wonderful reunion with them.....
