The death of Mrs Blanche Williams, daughter of the late Samuel and Rachel Pickup, and widow of Reverend TL Williams took place at the home of Mr and Mrs Herbert Weatherspoon on the 30th. She was thrice married. Her first husband was Joseph Thorne. After his death she married Capt Pratt, with whom she made several ocean voyages, visiting some of the largest cities on the continent. Following the death of Capt. Pratt, she married Reverend TL Williams, a Methodist Minister and a native of England. She was in the 76th year of her age and is survived by a half-sister, Mrs AL Troop and sister-in-law, Mrs W W Pickup, both of Granville Ferry. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon, Reverend RB Thomas and Dr Borden of Annapolis officiating.
