MacDONALD, Lela Mae - 73, born June 13, 1931, passed away April 17, 2005, at her home in Middle Sackville. Born in Cheverie, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Lillian Marsters (Bramber, Hants Co.). She is survived by her husband, Robert MacDonald, Middle Sackville; daughter, Charlene Lela Dill, Halifax; granddaughter, Sasha Lynn Graham, Middle Sackville; great-grandchildren, Mitchell Cuvelier and Bryanna Cuvelier, Middle Sackville. She was predeceased by daughter, Linda Mae Mahar (Lower Sackville); brothers, Reginald Marsters, Melvin Marsters, and sister, Eva Walker. Lela was a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Calais Branch, Sackville. Arrangements have been entrusted to T.K. Barnard Funeral Home, 527 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville, where visitation will be today from 7-9 p.m., and where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, at 2 p.m., Rev. Bob Chapman officiating. Reception will follow in the Royal Canadian Legion, Sackville. Burial to take place Thursday, April 21, at 3 p.m. in Fernwood Memorial Park, Middle Sackville. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
