Windsor, April 22 - Captain John Hiram Marsters died yesterday afternoon in the 95th year from a second paralytic stroke, the first attack being five years ago, which affected his speech. For twenty years he followed the sea, and afterwards conducted a general business in Sommerville. He took a deep interest n shipbuilding, was a most enterprising citizen and well known and highly esteemed by all classes thruout Hants. Captain Hiram was of good old stock, honest as the sun, and leaves an unstained reputation. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Arabelle Smith, of Kempt. He was married sixty-five years. One sister, Mrs. Ann Skaling, Vancouver, aged 92, is the only survivor of the family of four, three brothers and one sister. One son and daughter have passed away. The deceased was a worthy member of the Baptist church.
