- Age 91, Beaver Bank, died September 19, 2018, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. She was a daughter of the late James and Amelia "Betty" Redmond (Gray) (England). Mom was involved with many community acitivites and loved to play bingo with her silver and gold friends. She is survived by daughters, Cathy (Don), Jeanette (Paul), Gail (Donnie); sons, John (Hope), Barry (Delia), Verney, Vincent (Tracey), Darren (Rose); sisters, Hilda and Irene; brother, Frank; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Verney; daughters, Amelia and Susan; and sister, June. Visitation will be held 12:30-2 p.m. in Church of the Good Shepherd where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., both on Saturday, September 22nd, Kathy Lee Cunningham officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Reception to follow the burial. Donations may be made to Church of Good Shepherd. A special thank you to Rachel-Ann for all her help and support.
