- Crossley, Jean "Audrey" - age 84, of Windsor NS, formerly of East Walton, passed away on October 25, 2016 at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor NS. Born in Halifax on September 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Wesley & Hilda (Francis) Harnish. Audrey grew up in The Maritime Home For Girls in Truro, Nova Scotia. She worked in the laundry department at the old Children's Hospital in Halifax until she started her family, at which time she chose to be a stay-at-home Mom. Audrey was known for being a hard-worker; she kept her house immaculate and was always working around the yard doing what she could to help out. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, and drinking multiple cups of tea throughout the day. She had a love for music; she would dance to any genre, and could be found at the local Jam sessions dancing to every song. She loved house parties, weddings or any kind of occasion that she would be able to dance. Audrey is survived by her sons, Larry (Debbie), Scotch Village; and Derrick (Connie), Hants Border; daughters Linda (Kenton) Caldwell, Scotch Village; and Marie (Timmy) McLellan, Cambridge; grandchildren, Mark (Marcella) Caldwell, Scotch Village; Jeff (Laura) Caldwell , Centre Rawdon ; Jeremy Crossley, Scotch Village; Dexter McLellan and Alysha McLellan, Cambridge; and Tyler Crossley, Hants Border; step-granddaughter Shelby Macumber (Nathan Rochon), Centre Burlington; and sister Eileen O'Neill, Stellarton. She was recently blessed with her first great-grandson, Nolan Caldwell, Centre Rawdon & her first step-great-grandson, Spencer Rochon, Centre Burlington. She was predeceased by husband Everett in 2010, her sisters Helen Fultz and Nora Harnish, and brother Johnny Harnish.
