He eventually remarried to Esther Pearl (Williams) Pellett on October 15, 1931 in Hartford, CT. He died May 8, 1982 in East Hartford. Roy changed his name to Raymond Walker sometime before the 1940 Hartford Census. His obit and death record is under the name Raymond Walker. His first wife, Lena Mosher, died September 18, 1964 in Riverton, Pictou County, NS.
