BARRY - CALDWELL
Windsor, June 22 - Many home town friends assembled at 2:30 this afternoon at Christ Church, here, to witness the marriage of one of Windsor's popular girls, Miss Mildred Helen Caldwell and Roy Willard Barry, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Barry of Dartmouth. The church had been prettily decorated by members of the Sanctuary Guild, of which organization the bride had been a valued member. The bride looked charming in a costume of white georgette trimmed with silk lace, and wore a white net veil caught up in dainty effect with lillies of the valley and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of roses and sweet peas The bride and groom were unattended. The wedding gifts were very numerous and beautiful and included a chest of flat silver from the staff of The Phinney Music Company, Halifax, where the bride had been a much appreciated member of the staff. A handsome cheque from the Directors of the Company testified to the fact that the service of the bride had been greatly appreciated. Following the church ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Barry left by motor for honeymoon trip through the Province. Returning they will reside in Dartmouth. Hosts of friends in Windsor, and elsewhere, unite in extending best wishes to the bride and groom.
