  	Hartford Courant Hartford, Connecticut · Monday, May 15, 1899 Funeral of Mrs. Church. Family and Friends Accompany the Remains from New York to This City. The funeral of Mrs. Isabel C.(sic) Church, wife of the artist, Frederic C.(sic) Church, was attended yesterday afternoon at the home of Mrs. William H. Osborne, No. 32 Park avenue, New York, and the remains were brought to this city on the train arriving here at 1:30 p.m. Simple commitment services were held at the family lot in the Spring Grove Cemetery dierctly after the arrival of the train, attended by Hartford friends of the family and those who came from New York in a special car. The services both in New York and in this city were conducted by the Rev. Dr. George Yeisley of the First Presbyterian Church of Hudson, N.Y., of which Mrs. Church was a member. Mr. Church was present, but in apparently feeble health, with his two sons and daughter. The honorary bearers were Jere S. Black, Robert W. DeForest, William H. Osborne, Lockwood DeForest, Professor Henry F. Osborne of Columbia University, Dr. E.D. Ferguson and Michael McKenna of New York and Miles W. Graves of this city. The funeral party returned on the special car, which was run back to New Haven for their convenience at 3:30 o'clock, that they might connect with the afternoon train on the Shore Line for New York.
