Notes - On John Ward's death record it states his parents as John Ward, master mariner, and Elizabeth. This could be a mistake by the person making the report because it's fairly common knowledge that he was the son of James Ward, loyalist, mustered at Digby in 1784, who built 'Ward House' at Trout Cove, Centreville.
