- In Loving Memory of Lena HazelIt is with sadness we announce the passing of Lena Maude Hazel age 100of West Leicester, on Monday, November 25, 2019 with family by her sideat her residence.Born in Advocate Harbor, she was the daughter of the late Percy and AdaMorris.Lena will be fondly remembered by her daughter Donna (Gordon) Simmonds;sons Vincent (Marilyn), Wilson (Frances) and Dawson (Elaine); sisterin-law Margaret; son in-law Bob Lewis; 15 grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Besides her parents, Lena was predeceased by her husband John Hazel;daughter Dawn Lewis; sons Bertram and Gerald; sisters Edith, Lillian,Mayola and Marjorie; brothers Reginald, Merton, Hilton, Marston ininfancy, Leland, Ivan and Valdere.Visitation will be held Monday, December 2, 2019 from 1 – 2 pmimmediately followed by the funeral service held at 2 pm with FatherJohn MacPherson officiating, all held in Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home,194 King St, Windsor, NS.Interment will be held in the Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Town Road,Falmouth, Hants Co., NS, B0P 1L0.Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 ChurchSt, Amherst, 902-667-9906 & Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home.Donations may be made in Lena’s memory to the Falmouth Cemetery or tothe Alzheimer’s Society.Condolences and sharing of memories maybe shared with the family via:www.campbellsamherst.ca (also by visiting Campbell’s Facebook page) orwww.lindsaysfuneralhome.com.
