- In 1836 Increase appears in the school records as a trustee for district 7 Bedford Basin. His children are listed with the number of days they attended. (from Wayne Ingalls) What is even more interesting is one child listed is Nicholas Ward, whose age (incorrectly) is given as 19. His father's name is Robert. Robert, my great great grandfather, died in 1835. What seems to be going on is that Nicholas was sent to live with his uncle, possibly to work at the inn or to find a job or get training in Halifax.
