- WARD, Elmore E. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elmore E. Ward on July 23, 2012 at 93 years of age.He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Joyce; daughters: Brenda Stewart, Karen Ward, Sharon (Steve) Austin; sisters Dolly Moore, Rae (Len) Boyd and Mary (Gordon) Moore, Shirley (Lorne) Cock and Joyce Cunningham. His great love also included his five grandchildren: Sean (Samantha) Austin, Ryan Austin, Melissa (Neil) Gelowitz, Briana (Bill) Stewart, Justin (Jenny) Stewart as well as his two great grandsons Carsen and Ryland Gelowitz.We were all very fortunate to have had his long life, love, wisdom and guidance. His family was his life and he enjoyed many outings, bbq's and family gatherings.A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Everden Rust Funeral Services and Crematorium, 1910 Windsor Rd., Kelowna, BC.
