- buried 9 JAN 1925 in Maplewood CemObituary: Mr. Samuel Caldwell. There passed away, at Three Mile Plain, Samuel Caldwell aged 79 years. Although the deceased had been failing in health for the past two years, death came unexpectedly to his family and friends. He leaves a widow, five sons and five daughters to mourn the loss of a loving husband and a kind father. The daughters are Alice, Mrs. Harry Shaw, Windsor; Nellie, Mrs Archie Peach, Windsor Forks; Ethel, Mrs. George Lowthers, Kentville; Mary of Windsor; Hilda, at home. The sons are Russell, Clark, Wentworth; Fred, Charlie, and John of Three Mile Plains. He also leaves three sisters, Mrs. James Kuhn, Windsor; Mrs. Minnie Gould, Ellershouse; Mrs. Bessie McLellan, Calgary.The funeral service was held Sunday January 11th at 2 o'clock. Rev. C. Paterson-Smyth officiating. The family desires to thank the friends for floral offerings, also for sympathy and kindness shown then in their recent sad bereavement.
