Notes - In the marriage register most of the other grooms were weavers, combers, etc. probably involved in the flax business. John, however, is called a corndealer. But the fact that he came from a flax industry area shows this must be the right John Frankland and Sarah.On the other hand, the age at marriage of both of them is 19 putting their birth year as 1791 whereas in the 1841 census they are both listed as 1781.
