He was 72. A native of Brooklyn where he lived all hislife, he was the son of Edward and Mary Ward, and a member of the UnitedChurch. For more than 22 years he operated the J.H. Ward and Son servicestation. Surviving are his wife, the former Elvie Etta Robinson of The Gore;one daughter, Phyllis (Mrs. Bruce MacKenzie), Armdale; two sons, Charles,Lower Sackville and Major, Brooklyn and two sisters, Mrs. Jehu Ward,Brooklyn and Mrs. Charles Robinson, Windsor. The body is resting at the R.D.Lindsay Funeral Home, Windsor, from where it will be taken Sunday to theUnited Church for funeral service at 2:30. Rev. Percy Page will officiate.Burial will be in the Windsor cemetery.
