- Ward, Charles Murdock - 76, Lower Sackville, died Sunday at home. Bornin Brooklyn, Hants County, he was a son of the late James and ElvieWard. He was a lifetime elder at Knox United Church. He worked at TwinCity Dairies, now known as Farmers, for many years. He is survived bytwo sons, Robert (Bob), Victoria, B.C.; Russell (Russ), Orleans, Ont.;five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by hiswife, the former Dorothy Hunter; a sister, Phyllis MacKenzie; a brother,Major. The body is in Atlantic Funeral Home, Lower Sackville, visiting2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Knox UnitedChurch, Lower Sackville, Rev. John Finlayson officiating. Burial inPleasant Hill Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Knox UnitedChurch building fund or any charity."
