Notes - Suddenly, at Falmouth on the 26th ultimo, in the 76th year of his age, John Irish Esq., a native of Rhode Island, N.S. and long an esteemed member of the community of this province: he has left a widow and large family who feel deeply the loss of an affectionate parent; they have said over him 'Earth to earth' and have done it 'in the hope of a resurrection to eternal life'.
