Robertson Dies in 88th Year After Long Illness -New Glasgow - Mrs. Phoebe Robertson, widow of Caleb Robertson, passedaway Wednesday afternoon following a long illness. She was in her 88thyear, and was born in Musquodoboit, but had lived most of her life inNew Glasgow, where she was a member of the Salvation Army. Her husbandpredeceased her 12 years ago, and a daughter Evelyn (Mrs. JackCarmichael) was killed in a car accident last November. Mrs. Robertsonwas the last surviving member of her parent's family, two brothers andfive sisters having predeceased her. She is survived by one grandson,Robert Carmichael. The funeral will be held from the H.W. Angus FuneralHome, King St., Friday afternoon at 1:30, with burial in BrooksideCemetery.Note: The obituary has her as Robertson, but she was the wife of CalebRobinson.
